Questions lenders ask us.
Where does it sit in our process?
Between the broker’s enquiry and your underwriter, and on through completion if you choose. It works from its own email address in your name, or from yours by forwarding, so brokers keep emailing you as they do today. Run all five stages, or only the ones you choose.
What happens to the BDM and underwriter relationship?
Who decides does not change. Exceptions can go to your BDM before the broker, any message can wait for a person’s approval, and your underwriter reads, comments and decides in the report. The assistant records the decision and works through what follows.
How are documents checked?
It reads every page as it lands and checks it against the application, your criteria and the rest of the case, within each document and across them. Anything that does not add up becomes a flag for your underwriter, with its source.
What does the underwriter get?
An underwriter report in our standard format, every finding sourced and the whole evidence pack attached, sent to your named underwriter. The underwriter completes the decision boxes and replies; the assistant records the decision and produces the final version with the audit stamp. Your own report template is a project.
How are changes made?
Most changes are a rule or a document, not a rebuild: load a document into the knowledge base, write a plain language rule, or reply to the assistant on a case. A new milestone, a bespoke output or a connection to your systems is a project, quoted separately.
Does it connect to our systems?
It starts over email, with nothing to install. Credit and company checks run under your own Creditsafe or Red Flag Alert agreement. Pushing cases into your loan system or CRM is an integration project, quoted separately.
What does it cost, and what is bespoke?
£1,000 + VAT a month minimum, rolling monthly, which includes £1,000 of usage; a typical case uses about £1 to £30. Set up of the standard service is included, with no set up fee, and the first two weeks are free from sign up. Hands on training, implementation support, bespoke templates, new milestones, different journeys per product and integrations are a project, quoted separately.
Where does the data live, and what if we stop?
Hosted in the EEA, encrypted in transit and at rest, in your own segregated instance, and no client data is used to train the underlying models. You can see who we work with, and where each is based, on our sub processors page. There is no commitment: cancel any month, or within the first two weeks at no cost.
